What this problem usually is
Screen complaints read like a list of small betrayals. The display goes black or freezes, the backup camera shows nothing when you shift into reverse, CarPlay or Android Auto keeps dropping, or the radio changes volume on its own. The high voltage battery cells may contain misaligned electrodes, which can lead to a fire while parked or driving.
Due to a software error, the instrument panel screen may fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, "Controls and Displays."
A software error may cause the remote smart parking assist feature, which allows the operator to remotely move the vehicle, to miscalculate stopping distances.

“Heads up display and speedometer screen turned off while driving. The car would drive but we could not use signals, know how much charge was left, know how fast we were driving, or any of the information needed to drive the car safely. Eventually returned to normal after leaving the car turned off for hours. This has happened twice.”

“When the car is turned on the speedometer display is blank. Further, the indicators of the car does not function as well. HVAC and info entertainment display worked as expected.”
