What this problem usually is
Stalling reports are some of the most alarming on the site. The engine quits while the car is moving, sometimes on a highway and sometimes at a stop. Many owners say it restarted right away and the dealer found no stored code, which is part of why these complaints pile up before anything gets fixed.

The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.
The fuel tank assembly installed by Braun may be susceptible to the fuel tank overfilling into the charcoal canister. If the charcoal canister fills with a sufficient amount of fuel, fuel may leak out.
Incorrect central network software programming may cause several errors to occur that can delay or prevent the rearview camera image from displaying.
The wire harness for the third row seat accessory power outlet may get pinched between the unibody and rear trim panel, possibly damaging the wires and causing an electrical short.

“The multipurpose camera unit /mil radar internal electric failure (DTC's U3000-49) caused the majority of the safety features lights to come on and eventually stalled out. This part has failed twice already.”

“Vehicle stopped at red light, idle start/stop stopped engine. At green light, upon pressing on gas engine started, vehicle ready to move, but stalled. This happened a few times. Took it to Honda who said they know about this issue and that the Isle start/stop is not a âperfectâ system. Tried to sell me an expensive battery. Huge concern in terms of safety in a vehicle with children and stalling in busy streets.”

“The current 2018-2019 Honda Odyssey recall also is applicable to 2020 models. The Infotainment system frequently is popping or crackling from the speakers or no sound from the audio system, display issues, and shuts off completely.”
