What this problem usually is
Screen complaints read like a list of small betrayals. The display goes black or freezes, the backup camera shows nothing when you shift into reverse, CarPlay or Android Auto keeps dropping, or the radio changes volume on its own. A software error may cause the rearview camera to display a blank image, or the image may remain on the display after the backing event has ended.
The Pre-Collision Assist features, such as forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking, are not functional due to a software error.
The windshield wiper arms may break, causing the windshield wipers to fail.
Due to a poor electrical connection, the rearview camera may intermittently display a blank or distorted image.

“The back up camera is not working shows a blue screen or a black and white screen with lines through it. Can't change radio or connect a phone to it or change the temperature on the screen. Navigation stops working on the screen and won't display anything. Sometimes the screen won't shut off when vehicle is shut off or won't turn on and stays blank when the vehical is in motion and cant control anything at all.”

“Just about every time we get in the vehicle the center screen wonât light up and requires a power and fast forward button to reset. Sometimes this needs to be done twice in one drive.”

“rear back up camera does not have guide lines. Camera works, but does not have the guide lines that move when you back up. I bought the vehicle used. I checked other 2020 expeditions and they have the guide lines on the display.”
