“When I shift my vehicle into Park and attempt to turn off the car, the computer gives me an error message, "Shift to Park, " even when the vehicle is securely shifted into park. With this error message engaged, I am unable to turn the vehicle off and lock it. I end up spending several minutes trying to convenience the computer that the car is indeed in park, by shifting it so it registers.”

“Bought last year in November. Starting having "Shift to park" alert when car was in fact, in park. Took me 5 minutes to successfully turn my car off. It happens intermittently and at first it was just one and done, now (after about a week) it's almost every time I park. It's very frustrating. I called the dealership and they can't get me in for 2 weeks. Unsure if they will be able to diagnose/fix the problem.”

“Nearly every time I park my car and shut it off a message pops up on the message board that says SHIFT TO PARK even though it is in park. I have to restart my car MULTIPLE times and shift to another gear and back into park before the message goes away. This has been happening for a couple of weeks but is getting more frequent.”
