“I drive my corvette about 3000 miles per year, no highway, never in the rain. I took my GS in for new tires and was informed the driver side rear wheel was cracked and leaking air. I have never hit a bump, drove it on a track, drove on deflated tires etc. Makes no sense the rim would be cracked.”

“This is a common problem with the OEM wheels bent that precludes proper and unsafe use. Tire inflation and balance along with vibrations are a major safety concern. I would like GM to do a recall on these wheels and help the owners for replacements with a forged aluminum wheel as opposed to the engineering mistakes made using a cast alluminum wheel.”

“Both rear wheels cracked. Lost air pressure in tires. Potential catastrophic tire failure while driving. There are many many documented cases. GM denied my claim for reimbursement of replacement wheels. No warnings until the loss of air pressure.”
