“My vehicle Beeps loudly and says âBRAKE BOOSTER FAULTYâ. My brakes become spongy or hard to engage and I usually have to start the car over again. This has become a frequent issue and Iâm afraid to drive my vehicle now. Iâve tried to catch a video but I can never get my phone out in time.. I am shocked that this is a common issue and it has yet to be recalled.”

“The vehicle engaged the parking brake when there was nothing in front of me. This happened twice in one day. I currently have it at the VW dealership.”

Should you keep driving it?
This page can't tell you that. 1 of 76 reports involved a crash and 3 people were hurt. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.
File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
