Gulf States Toyota, Inc. (GST) is recalling certain model year 2015 Toyota Sienna vehicles manufactured January 23, 2015, to April 13, 2015, and equipped with non-Toyota-brand overhead entertainment accessories installed by GST. During reassembly of the interior after the overhead entertainment system installation, a trim panel securing clip may have been reused instead of being replaced.
Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC (SET) is recalling certain model year 2015 Sienna vehicles manufactured September 1, 2014, to April 13, 2015 and equipped with overhead entertainment accessories installed by SET. “The cable that controls the sliding door lock disconnected leaving the door inoperable. According to the dealership, as well as, Toyota corporate, this is a common ongoing issue. This is a safety hazard and should be recalled immediately.”

“The slide door latch stopped working. The sliding door doesn't latch properly and I have to manually close the door and lock it to know it's secure. If it's not locked a slight push will cause it to pop open. My mechanic said there is a recall associated with the replacement part. I can't find the recall. However, I did find a related TSB (TSB-0244-17).”

“Passenger sliding door jammed and would not open! Serious safety hazard as passengers unable to rapidly exit in an emergency!”

“Cable that controls sliding door broke. Door now pops open about 1cm, not enough that you notice that it is open and when you drive it slides open more. It also can't be closed with the button and it's not easy to close.”
