“Was driving down the road on January 1, 2022 headed home and truck seized accelerating and once I pulled over the road. Truck shut down, wouldnât turn on. Took it to a diesel shop and they told me the crankshaft had seized. Paid over $14k to get it rebuilt at ONLY 67k miles on my 2016 Nissan Titan XD. Almost caught on fire as I tried turning on since I did not know what the issue was at first.”

“Driving down the interstate at roughly 80mph. Truck started to shake violently almost causing me to loose control of truck and an enclosed trailer. Truck then shut down. No check engine lights or warnings. I coasted to a stop to find small fire in the engine bay. Got it towed to a mechanic, he drained the oil and found the oil pan was full of metal fragments. Suspected crank failure.”
