What this problem usually is
This is the narrower sheet inside airbag problems for complaints about inflator recalls, Takata's above all. Many owners here aren't describing a failure they've seen. They're describing a recall notice, a dealer who doesn't have the part, and the question of whether the car is safe to drive in the meantime.
What got replaced
Few of these reports name the part that was replaced.
Recalls and investigations
5 recalls on the airbags cover the 2023 model year. A recall on the same system isn't always the same failure, so read the defect text.

The right and left side curtain air bags may have insufficient pressure retention from improperly sealed seams.

What owners wrote
“I can't rent out the car due to a safety recall and I can't sell it either to Chrysler dealerships because they can't sell it to the public. It's been 2 month since there is not fix, they said there would be a fix by Quarter 3 this year but nothing yet. I just want Chrysler to buy the car back with the same amount I purchased it for.”

“There is an active recall but the manufacturer has failed to resolve the issue in a timely fashion. They currently have no idea how to repair or replace the airbags. As a result, my family do not feel safe in the vehicle.”

Should you keep driving it?
This page can't tell you that. 1 of 31 reports involved a crash. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.
File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation. How reports land on this sheet.
