What this problem usually is
Stalling reports are some of the most alarming on the site. The engine quits while the car is moving, sometimes on a highway and sometimes at a stop. Many owners say it restarted right away and the dealer found no stored code, which is part of why these complaints pile up before anything gets fixed.

The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.
Due to a manufacturing error, the connecting rod bearing in the engine may wear and seize, damaging the engine.
Particulates in fuel may adhere to the internal components of the fuel pump, reducing its performance.
In the affected vehicles, the transmission wire harness connections may have insufficient crimps, and, as a result, the transmission may unexpectedly shift to neutral.
The automatic transmission parking pawl may become contaminated or the park rod may become dislodged or broken. This may prevent the transmission from shifting into the Park position.

“When the vehicle is running in driveway and I then get into it a few minutes later and drive around the corner, when coming to a stop it jerks as if it wants to stall. This happens when I am driving as well and slow down, itâll jerk and push me forward a little and happens daily so not sure why my vin didnât come up with a recall because it sounds a lot like the fuel pump issue the one recall mentioned.”

“While driving on a highway the car lost all power and every dashboard light came on and started blinking. Car wouldnât shift gear and lost all power abruptly! I almost caused a horrible accident and this has happened at least 10 times now and Iâve only had my car a year!!!!”
