“Back up camera fails, and a collision follows. The camera keeps flickering and going black all the time. I ask the dealer and was told that if the factory warranty expired, nothing they can do. Also the infotainment system is failing, turn off then on, or freeze if temperature is cold. Same answer from dealer”

“Backup camera turned blue, not allowing me to view if a child is behind my truck. This is a safety issue because a child could be killed because you cannot see them. I have found out that this is an issue with allot of gm trucks/cars. But gm does not see this as an issue enough to put out a recall!”

Should you keep driving it?
This page can't tell you that. 1 of 101 reports involved a crash. Owners who file are the ones who had a bad experience, and nobody checks their reports. If the problem affects steering, braking, power or a fire risk, treat it as a safety fault and have it inspected before a long or high-speed drive.
File your own report with NHTSA. Complaint counts are how a problem gets an investigation.
